Word Construction is a fun and engaging way for children to learn how to build words. It is a great way for children to develop their literacy skills, by learning consonants and vowels, word recognition and spelling.

The steps are easy. Start by creating a consonant, vowel, consonant word (C-V-C) using the nuts and bolt to make a new word. As this gets easier, start to add more letter pieces/nuts to make longer words. As they advance further, encourage children to make longer words using a silent ‘e’.

The set includes 6 chunky plastic bolts (12.5 cm L) and 30 printed letter nuts (5 cm). Enough pieces for more than 1 child to play at the same time.

Finally, this educational toy is suitable from age 5 years.
